The sacred site where Goddess Ganga descended to Earth, caught in Lord Shiva's locks. The pristine white temple, built by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa, is the only Dham accessible directly by road.

Highest Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva • 3,583m
The highest of the 12 Jyotirlingas, where Lord Shiva is worshipped as a bull's hump. Reconstructed by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century, the shrine miraculously survived the 2013 floods
BADRINATH DHAM
Sacred Abode of Lord Vishnu • 3,133m
The final stop of the Char Dham Yatra, nestled between Nar and Narayan peaks. Lord Vishnu is worshipped in his Shaligram form. A holy dip in Tapt Kund is mandatory before darshan.
